 ARC Raiders Best Weapon Attachments

You must understand that both common and uncommon attachments have only positive aspects. They have no downside. Use them if you want to improve your gun without having to change your gameplay much. The second thing to consider is that Rare attachments can have negative effects, like increased recoil or gun wear. You'll need to take into account the upgrades and stronger sides of the gun after this rareity. We will explain at the end of this article how stats affect the behavior of the gun. Scroll to the section you'd like to learn more about. We will discuss guns and their best attachments in the sections below. Below you can find the best weapons attachments for ARC Raiders.

 Autofire Weapons

This first section will focus on guns that fire with a single sustained trigger press. These guns are best used for close-to-medium distances. However, some can be effective in long-range shootouts. This list includes the Rattler, Tempest Bettina Stitcher Bobcat and Torrente. The Equalizer, while also being a full auto gun, cannot be fitted with any attachments. We have chosen to include attachments that are not the most rare, in order to strike a balance between cost-effectiveness as well as practicality.

All autofire weapons are listed here. Compensator is a better option than a Muzzle Brake for most guns because you can reduce the recoil by using stocks or grips. It's also a good idea to use gray or green weapon modifications, since they have no drawbacks. Some may even think of them as the meta attachments for ARC Raiders. It is true that this is the case in general, but it is also important to play to your weapon's strengths, since you can push them beyond their limits. Let's now move onto the second category.

 Semi-Automatic & Burst Weapons

In this section we will cover two different types of weapons, both of which require separate trigger presses in order to fire. Although burst weapons can fire several shots at once, they are more like semi-autos than full autos. This category includes Kettle, Arpeggio Ferro Renegade Aphelion Il Toro Vulcano Hairpin Burletta Anvil Venator Osprey Hullcracker. You can see that the majority of ARC Raiders guns are semi-automatic. Fitting is similar to full-auto weapons for them, even though they use certain attachments differently.

The list includes all of the best mods for all guns in ARC Raiders. There's a trend in some attachments that are objectively superior to others. Some are situational like the Lightweight Stock while others are always useful, such a Compensator. Let's look at how to identify the parts you need yourself.

 ARC Raiders Weapon Attachments guide

The majority of attachments are designed to enhance the performance of the gun. Attachments are good for both common and uncommon guns. Equip the attachment with the lowest rarity if you're unsure if the rarer one is worth it. The only attachments that have no downsides regardless of rarity are silencers and magazines. This ARC Raiders attachments guide will break down the different mods.

Muzzle Brake: Best used with guns which have a strong recoil. Compensators are still preferred over brakes despite the fact that higher quality brakes can reduce recoil significantly. It increases horizontal and vertical recoil, while accelerating the rate of wear.

Compensator: Reduces dispersion. The dispersion of your bullets is the possible window in which they will fly. There are two types of dispersion: a maximum shot dispersion, and a per-shot one. The per-shot dispersion is important for semi-auto and burst fire weapons. However, the maximum shot dispersion will be more important for fully automatic weapons. Per-shot dispersion keeps your shots closer to the center. The maximum shot dispersion will reduce the spread of bullets when spraying for long periods. Grips can reduce recoil, but Compensators can only decrease dispersion. Higher-rare Compensators drain your durability quicker.

Extended Barrel: Your shots will fly faster. This is useful in long-range shootouts. It's obvious that it is useful for Osprey. However, for Ferro and Kettle the utility of this attachment is questionable. It's risky to attach an Epic attachment to Ferro, as it isn't a very good weapon. Kettle solves this problem with its upgrades. As a result, the return on investment diminishes as the level of a gun increases. It increases bullet speed but also vertical recoil.

Silencer is a good option in certain situations. Silencers can be useful for guns that are used to destroy ARCs, or long-range weapons for hiding your missed shots. It's almost useless in a shootout, because after the first few shots people will know where you are shooting from. Silencers can only be used with Burletta, Osprey and Anvil guns.

Choke: The default option for all shotguns. It is the only attachment that comes close in terms of its utility for shottys. It increases base dispersion. Shotgun Choke III improves durability burn time.

All grips do the same thing. Horizontal Grip is always recommended unless you are using SMGs. Vertical Grips are recommended for SMGs because the newer SMGs offer a lower horizontal recoil. Horizontal recoil can be much more difficult to control. Grip increases the ADS time on higher rarities.

Mags have no negatives, as we've already mentioned. Enjoy your favorite weapon with the best magazine you can find.

Each stock with Rare or higher quality is unique. Your playstyle is largely influenced by them. They have very different options. Start with Stable Stock III. This improves the recovery rate from recoil and scattering. Your reticle will be able to return to the pre-firing condition faster. This is especially important for semiautomatic guns as they can reset their reticle before firing each shot. The trade-off, however, is that it takes more time to switch between weapons. This is only worthwhile if the gun will be your primary weapon or you won't switch to it during combat. Next is the Lightweight Stock. This is best suited for secondary weapons used in close quarters combat. It increases the ADS speed 200% while decreasing the time it takes to change guns. The price is high. The vertical recoil will be increased by 50%. The third option is a Padded Stock. The most difficult to install. It slows down the ADS and switching speed, while reducing the recoil. This stock could be beneficial for weapons that are good at close range and medium distances. The last stock, a Kinetic Converter increases both the firing rate and the recoil. The Kinetic Converter works on all guns except for those that have a complex recoil pattern.

Anvil Splitter is the only attachment that does not fit any of the other types. The Anvil Splitter completely changes how the weapon is used. This is a comprehensive guide of all the attachments.

The conclusion of the article is:

Attachments are essential to maximize the potential of your gun. You can now be confident that your weapon will perform better than others' once you understand how to use the attachments. You'll win every duel if you follow a simple logic when selecting the attachments to attach to your weapon. Enjoy your new toys, and we'll see you Topside raiders!
