U4GM How to Build Tangtang for Cryo CC and Team Damage

Tangtang's been out for a bit in Endfield Version 1.1, and if you pull her you'll notice fast she doesn't play like a simple "stand there and spam" caster. She's a Cryo Caster with dual handcannons, but the real hook is how she sets the field up for your team. If you're the sort of player who cares about clean clears, faster rotations, or even just saving yourself a headache on tough stages, you'll probably end up looking at stuff like Arknights endfield boosting sooner or later to keep pace while you're building a roster around units like her.

How her loop actually feels in play

Tangtang is all about a rhythm: set, then cash out. You start with her Combo Skill, "RIVER, TO ME!", to drop whirlpools where fights are going to happen. Put them where enemies bunch up, not where you wish they would. Then you pop her Battle Skill, "IMA WAVERIDAAH!", and those whirlpools get burned to spawn Cryo waterspouts. The waterspouts tick damage and, more importantly, slap an Arts Susceptibility debuff on anything caught inside. That's the payoff. Your whole team's Arts damage starts biting harder, and it's noticeable when your main carry is already tuned to burst.

Control tools and what to level first

When a wave gets messy, her Ultimate, "DA CHIEF SEES YOU!", is the button you hit to steal tempo back. It freezes enemy actions in a wide area, buys you space, and lets you reset your positioning without eating a bunch of hits. The finisher is a heavy rogue wave, and if you've lined up dive attacks during the pause, it can feel like you're deleting a problem instead of "handling" it. For upgrades, most players will get the best mileage by leveling her Battle Skill first, then her Ultimate. Her Basic Attack exists, sure, but her value comes from effects, not tap damage.

Weapons, sets, and team pairings

Her signature handcannon, Brigand's Calling, is the easy best pick since it leans into Cryo damage and rewards the debuff playstyle she already wants. If you don't have it, Wedge or Artzy Tyrannical will do the job while you wait. For gear, Tide Fall Light Armor plus Tide Surge Gauntlets are the kind of practical choices you feel immediately because they push Arts Intensity and keep her waterspouts relevant late-game. Pairing-wise, she fits neatly next to carries like Yvonne or Last Rite: she applies Cryo and susceptibility, they cash in. Even outside a Cryo-focused squad, the SP flow and map control keep her from feeling "niche."

Making her progression less of a grind

If you're trying to bring Tangtang online quickly, the annoying part isn't learning her kit—it's farming the pieces and keeping your overall account growth steady while you do it. That's where sites like U4GM come up in conversation, since a lot of players use it to buy game currency or items and smooth out the slow stretches, especially when you're juggling multiple builds at once.
