This Battle is Not Yours) Exodus 14:13-15 Moses said to the Israelites, "Do not be afraid! Stand firm! Today you will see how the Lord will save you. The Egyptians you see today, you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." When the Israelites reached the Red Sea, they thought they had come to the end. Looking back, they saw Pharaoh's army approaching and began to complain, wondering if there were no graves in Egypt that they should die there. They completely lost hope and forgot about the great deeds God had done by rescuing them from Pharaoh. God, through Moses, told the Israelites that they would no longer see the Egyptians and that they would witness the salvation of the Lord. The Lord will fight for you; you need to be still. And indeed, the Lord fought for them and separated them from the Egyptians, and they remained silent. The Lord says, Our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against rulers and authorities of darkness. The problem is not with God; it is with us thinking we have the power to fight the battle without Him, which is not true at all. What you first see when facing difficulties is your hope. A child of God must learn to return to God's feet for strength to win the battle. Life is a battle, and the world is the battlefield. To succeed, you must choose a side. In this world, there are two main networks fighting: God and Satan. Your connection will determine what package you join. An Example of Others God Fought For 2 Chronicles 20:15-17 When Jehoshaphat saw the approaching army that was larger than his own, he turned to God, praying for three days. During his prayers, the Lord revealed to him, Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army, for the battle is not yours, but God's. Jehoshaphat remembered God's promises to Solomon, which assured him of where to find refuge. Where do you turn when troubles arise? To mediums or to the God of your forefathers? Once you are saved, learn to submit to God so that He becomes your friend. You won't see battles; they will see the God of your fathers. If you are suffering right now, I am here to tell you to rise up and pray to see the salvation of the Lord. If your marriage is troubled, rise and pray to see the salvation of the Lord because that marriage is not yours; He is the one who established it. The Lord will fight for you in your finances, and you will be still. For the Lord to fight for you, the scriptures say, Know the Lord well, and good things will follow you. Paul says we should wear the armor of faith and the Word to defeat the evil one. Remind God of His Word this morning so that He can fight for you. Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Through the blood of Jesus, we must win battles. Today, let us use the blood of Jesus as a powerful tool for overcoming and winning battles. Thank you very much. Every decision should be talked and planned with the both of you. If he said your cooking is a little salty, NEVER WALK OUT OF THE TABLE…instead appologize and offer other options.
