Passwords are the most commonly leaked item, representing roughly 30.4% of all exposed data; the dedicated "password" field alone appears in about 10.4 billion leaks.

The password category also includes password hints and answers to security questions, underscoring the risks of reusing credentials.

The next-largest categories are personal information (28.8%), covering names, national identifiers and phone numbers, and location data (22.9%), including addresses and IP-derived locations.
