Alternative Bosses That May Drop Herald's Morningstar

Duriel shares his loot pool with Diablo 4 Items other high-end lair bosses, meaning there's a strong chance Herald's Morningstar can also drop from them:

Andariel - Her hoard requires three Pincushioned Dolls, which drop from Lord Zir and Beast in Ice
Harbinger of Hatred - Requires three Abhorrent Hearts, dropped by Urivar in the Fields of Judgement

While drop rates aren't officially confirmed for all shared bosses, repeated community testing suggests they can roll similar Uniques. Additionally, Belial can drop items from any lair boss loot pool, making him another viable farming target.

However, these methods are significantly less consistent compared to targeted Duriel farming.

Herald's Morningstar Unique Effect Explained

Herald's Morningstar truly shines because of its interaction with Blessed Hammer. Its Unique effect multiplies Blessed Hammer damage and gives the skill a chance to spawn an additional base Blessed Hammer on Lucky Hits.

With sufficient Lucky Hit Chance, your Paladin can fill the screen with spiraling hammers, creating exceptional area coverage and sustained damage. This makes the weapon especially powerful for high-density content and long encounters.
