Today, I decided to test a strategy that focuses entirely on strong boxes in T16 maps, skipping containment and instead targeting chip boxes. My goal? To see how profitable this approach really is and calculate the investment versus the payoff with buy POE exalted orbs.

The Setup: Scarabs, Maps, and Strategy

For this test, I used the following:

Three Ambush Scarabs

One Patency Scarab

One Discernment Scarab

Here's what I paid for the scarabs and my baseline chaos-to-divine ratio:

Maps: 58 mod T16 Jungle Valley maps, self-farmed (or 8C each from TFT if you prefer buying)

The total runtime for the 50 maps was 2 hours and 19 minutes.

Calculating Investment

Here's a breakdown of what I invested:

50 T16 Jungle Valley maps: 8C each = 400C

50 Discernment Scarabs: 274C

50 Bant Scarabs: 25C

150 Ambush Scarabs: 180C

50 Ambush Map Devices: 200C

Total investment: 1,079C (~8.3 Divines at 130C/divine)

Profit and Profit Per Hour
