Even items that start with completely wrong affixes can sometimes be salvaged. By combining removals, sealing, chaos rerolls, and havoc shuffling, you can slowly reshape an item into something usable. That said, it's always better to Last Epoch gold start with an exalted base that already contains at least one stat you care about. Crafting from nothing is possible-but inefficient.
