Coming back to Pokémon TCG Pocket after a break is weirdly comforting. You open the app, you're rusty, you don't recognise half the current meta, and yet the first packs feel generous in a way that makes you lean closer to the screen. People call it "returning player luck" and maybe it's just confirmation bias, but it's hard not to buy into it when your first session back delivers...
