• THANK YOU.

    Luke 17:11-19
We look at the story of the ten lepers who were all healed.

However, only one of them, a Samaritan, returned to thank Jesus.

Jesus asked, "Aren't all ten healed? Where are the other nine?"

This reflects the reality of today's church and world. When we face difficulties, we pray a lot to God. Yet, when we receive blessings, we often forget to return and give thanks.

What we don’t realize is that God Himself says, "He is pleased with a thankful heart."

In every act of gratitude, there is a blessing that takes you to another level.

He told the Samaritan, "Get up and go; your faith has healed you." (Luke 17:19)

So, after giving thanks, he was blessed with healing directly from Jesus.

With every expression of gratitude, you give God the opportunity to trust you more and help you move forward.

If thankfulness wasn’t important, Jesus wouldn’t have asked, "Was there no one to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?"

This is where you understand that giving thanks is a way to praise God.

"Let us come before Him with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs." (Psalm 9:1, Psalm 52:9)

To have the peace of Christ, you must be a person of gratitude. "And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful."

After receiving what you asked for, you must also thank Him. "I will give thanks to You for You have answered me and have become my salvation." (Psalm 118:21)

To be a winner, you must be a person of gratitude. "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)

After you pray, you should start planting seeds of gratitude. "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving." (Colossians 4:2)

Even if you haven't prayed for something specific, learn to thank God daily so He can guide you in His ways. "For He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle; so they thanked the Lord." (Psalm 107:7)

You might think that gratitude is just a simple act, but it carries great rewards.
